The fruity character is a great fit for the overall profile of the course while the tannins support the richness of the meat (pork) and in the end the overall acidity hold the flavors alive in the palate.

A very deep color here, leading out to a purple-black rim. Dense and concentrated nose, very evocative, with aromas of black fruits, white flower petals, tar and minerals. Very pure. This wine is intense with a lot of friut balanced with firm tannin that softens in the palate. Drink now as well as hold for a few years. A great gift indeed.
